On May 19, 2025, Car Park 224 at 34 Hanna Ave. will be reduced by 38 spaces for an interim pop-up park installation led by the City of Toronto’s Parks and Recreation division, as part of the Liberty Village Public Realm Strategy. Parking remains available at the lot (146 spaces) for customers.
As early as May 17, 2025, work will begin to accommodate the interim park. As shown in the map below, the park will be located in the north-east corner of the parking lot.
As directed by City Council, this parking lot will close in 2027 for conversion into a park; more information on the park conversion project can be found on the City’s website.
