Impacts to Green P Operations due to the World Cup™ May 29, 2026

Road and lot closures are in effect near World Cup™ event areas. Parking, charging and bike sharing may be limited in busy zones. Plan ahead and check your route before you go. IMPACTS TO ON-STREET PARKING:

(1) There will be NO on-street paid parking temporarily during FIFA World Cup 2026 (FWC26) (June 10 to July 19, 2026) on the following streets:

• King Street West from Jameson Avenue to Bathurst Street
• King Street East from Jarvis Street to Parliament Street
• Dundas Street West from Dufferin Street and Spadina Avenue
• Wellington Street East from Scott Street to Church Street

(2) There will be NO on-street paid parking temporarily during FWC26 (June 10 to July 19) on the following streets in east Liberty Village:

• East Liberty Street
• Lynn Williams Street
• Pirandello Street
• Western Battery Road

(3) On-street paid parking will be prohibited temporarily on match days only on the following streets in Liberty Village:

• Mowat Avenue
• Fraser Avenue
• Jefferson Avenue
• Jefferson Avenue
• Atlantic Avenue
• Snooker Street
• Pardee Avenue
• Hanna Avenue

Please note that the Green P App and parking machines will be temporarily disabled from 9pm the night before a match day until 5am the following day after the match day. Customers who do not move their vehicles before 9pm prior to a match day will be at risk of having their vehicles towed and/or ticketed.

IMPACTS TO OFF-STREET PARKING: EXCEPTION FOR MONTHLY PERMIT HOLDERS

• The following Green P Car Parks have closures, and parking will be prohibited during the timeframes listed below:
  • Closed until August 1^st, 2026:
    • Car Park 271 – 800 Fleet St.
    • Car Park 266 – 250 Fort York Blvd.
  • Closed between June 11^th to July 3^rd
    • Car Park 181 – 1155 King St. W
    • Car Park 224 – 34 Hanna Ave.
• Customers who have a monthly Green P parking permit at these locations are still permitted to park during the above timeframe except during match days. All customer parking is prohibited during match days.
• All customers who do not move their vehicles before 9pm prior to a match day will be at risk of having their vehicles towed.

Alternative parking is available at the following locations with a special event rate of $25.00:

• Car Park 261 – 45 Abell Street (Queen West)
• Car Park 275 – 1030 King St. W (Shaw/King)
• Car Park 106 – 15 Denison Ave (Queen/Bathurst)
• Car Park 96 – 10 Portland St (Bathurst/Front)
