Remembering Iwona Wolczanski August 18, 2014

On May 24, 2014, the TPA held a special tribute and plaque unveiling at Carpark 414 (3885 Yonge Street) for Iwona Wolczanski, a Parking Authority Construction Supervisor who passed away on November 13, 2013.

Carpark 414 was Iwona’s last major project for the TPA.  Iwona was looking forward to seeing the final construction of the Miller’s Cottage ruins, however she never saw the finished product, and coincidentally passed away on the very same day of its completion. It is very appropriate that a memorial plaque be dedicated to Iwona in this Carpark. 

Iwona was a dedicated employee and a friendly colleague who is deeply missed. Iwona is survived by her husband Andy and daughter Amanda.
