Healing Relationship with Ancestors and Grief Ritual
Weekend training Oct 30th and 31st 10-5pm, $300
Who are our ancestors and how do the living remain connected and nourish the dead? In this weekend teaching, we will learn how to heal our relationship to our ancestors, through story, teachings, creating an ancestral altar and participating in a powerful grief ritual. Malidoma’s people, the Dagara, believe that the deceased can become powerful allies once they are fully "at home" in the ancestral realm. As Malidoma says, “The indigenous spirit in each of us is calling for cleansing and reconciliation. The ancestors are responding.” Lists of materials for the rituals will be sent to all participants.
